My name is Yolanda Breeding-Hale, a native of Guatemala, Central America.. I have been a teacher for the past 22 years; I have a Bachelor degree in Education and Arts and Science, two masters; MAT in Spanish and Literature, and a Rank I. All degrees obtained from the University of Louisville. I also hold an Associate Degree in Accounting from the University of Kentucky. My teaching years have been very rewarding in that I believe my students have been provided not only with the opportunity to learn another language but to experience other cultural aspects different than their own. I am also Sponsor of overseas trips so that students can experience personally, global views of other cultures This allows young people to mature and be prepared for real work situations in their future. In my classes students experience various types of activities so they can all learn. I care very much about my students’ future and as individuals. I provide individual support for them whenever needed and requested. I stay after school for at least one and a half hour almost every day. They all know that I am available to help them whenever they are willing to put in the time. High level of teaching and learning takes place in my instruction in order to develop students’ High thinking abilities. Expectations are also held to high standards so that students reach their learning capabilities.
